The Mersis dress is a shift for superstars. She draws on 80's glam with generous shapes and peek-a-boo features that suggest more than they reveal - balloon sleeves, a deep back v-neck and a more modest v at the front are enhanced by the long, topstitched lines of the centre front seam and backed up with professional finishes.
The Mersis has a shift fit - loose through the body tapering slightly towards the hemline. The v-necklines are purposely cut to hide bra straps and minimise shoulder drop. There is plenty of ease in this pattern and pocket openings are cut high on the hip to keep the dress as streamlined as possible.
Light to mid weight fabrics are most suited to this pattern. We recommend any of our linens for the dress version and lightweight ikats and khadi cottons for the top.
